Krishi Thapanda, who talks to us about her decision to take up the task of portraying a character in Gana. “That was a tough decision, especially since the moment you take up a character as opposed to the lead role, there are chances that your onscreen image could change – in the minds of the audience and in the minds of the people who will want to cast you.
So, yes, I was initially skeptical about taking up this role. But the film industry is changing and we are in a phase where characters that are being written are evolved. Today, it is about the characters and their impact on the storyline,” she explains.
